I recently did a High End Beauty Wishlist that seemed to go down quite well so I thought I would give the High Street the same treatment and love as the high end! There are, after all, some incredible products out there at the moment – some of which I cannot wait to get my hands on.
NYX ULTIMATE SHADOW PALETTE – WARM NEUTRALS
As you can probably tell from the picture, this palette is definitely aimed at the Autumn/Winter/Festive season. It is packed full of warm neutrals, cranberry reds and some lovely shimmer shades set to light the room up. There are 16 shades in total with a good mixture of tones and finishes. It is also priced at £16.00 which is a really good price for what you’re getting. It’s quite often sold out in my local store so I can only imagine that it is as good as it looks!
RIMMEL THE ONLY ONE LIPSTICK
Now I’ve seen these lipsticks doing the rounds recently on social media and I would like to think that the people reviewing them are being honest about their opinions of them. When I’ve seen them swatched they look like a really nice and wearable formula without being too drying and there is also a nice mixture of shades to choose from. I have been a long time fan of the Kate collection so I hope these are of a similar consistency. The packaging also looks a lot nicer on this particular range.
MORPHE 35O EYESHADOW PALETTE
Dear god, when will I ever get my hands on this palette?! It seems to be sold out everywhere I look! The palette is absolutely mammoth and although I don’t need anymore eyeshadow palettes I would certainly like to add this one to my collection. It seems to have every possible neutral shade you could possibly one and again has an amazing mix of shimmer and matte shades. There are 35 eyeshadows in total so it is a complete must for palette addicts like me! The 35F and 35T palette are also on my wishlist! Totally dreamy <3
KIKO MILANO UNLIMITED STYLO LIPSTICK
Now it’s been a while since I’ve been to KIKO but this latest release has definitely caught my eye! The packaging is really sleek looking and looks a lot more luxurious than the price tag of £8.90. I’ve tried their smart lipsticks which are the cheapest in the range and they have been really fantastic so I can only imagine that these are even better. The shade ‘Biscuit Rose’ has definitely been the one to catch my eye the most! They are said to have a semi-matte finish and come in a whole host of shades.
SANCTUARY LET GO DAYS OF CHRISTMAS ADVENT CALENDAR
Now a little birdy tells me that Santa is bringing me this for Christmas and I couldn’t be more excited. Sanctuary isn’t a brand I’ve used very much but I’ve heard that it is a really great quality and their scents are to die for. This advent calendar is one, if not the, best value for money that I’ve seen. It’s currently £25.00 at Boots and they also offer their 3 for 2 range so you are in for even more savings if you have a couple of people to buy for. It’s packed full of various treats for the whole body!
MAYBELLINE LASH SENSATIONAL MASCARA
Now I am unbelievably late to this beauty trend. I’ve heard about this mascara for months now and have still not got my hands on it! Well to be fair, I don’t need any more mascaras but I’ve heard that this product really is sensational for the lashes. With ten layers of bristles, it’s said to volumize the lashes from the root to the tip and creates a full fan effect. Who doesn’t love a dramatic set of lashes?
