Wow, it feels like I’ve been away for absolutely ages! It was my birthday on Saturday and so I took a little time away with my friends and family and definitely over indulged in food and drink (definitely not lean in 15 friendly!). I had an amazing time and it was also Bank Holiday weekend which made it even better! Wouldn’t life be so much nicer if we could take every Monday off. Just a quick post for today because I know I love these kinds of posts as it satisfies my noisiness and curiosity! Here’s just a quick overview of what I was very kindly given for my 24th Birthday!
I have needed a new work bag for absolutely ages as the one I currently have is completely ripped inside and I keep losing things! So I was very kindly bought this one from H&M which was an absolute bargain I have to say! It’s nice and sturdy and will do the job absolutely perfectly. I was also kindly given some makeup bits that I have been lusting after for a while now. These included the Urban Decay Alice in Wonderland palette, Benefit Cheekathon palette, the NARS sheer glow foundation and radiant creamy concealer (reviews to follow). I was also given the limited edition DKNY perfume in Citrus Pulse which smells lovely and fresh. In order to help boost my creativity I was given two cute little books called ‘642 tiny things to draw‘ and ‘642 things to write about‘. They give little suggestions as to what you can draw and write about and I’m hoping to do a couple of these a day/when I’m in need of a burst of creativity. I love gifts like this!
I also went out on two separate nights – one with my family to the incredible Brazilian restaurant in Leeds called Fazenda. If you haven’t been before I would highly recommend it but be prepared for meat, meat and more meat! It’s definitely not one for vegetarians! I also went out on a night out in the ever so classy Wakefield with my friends from work and we indulged in some food from Smokehouse followed by a night out and drinks. All in all, it’s been an incredible weekend and I have been spoilt rotten as usual!
How was your bank holiday weekend?
